- The North Metro FBC Student Ministry understands that according to Deuteronomy 11:18-21 the spiritual core of a middle schooler’s life should be the family. The number one job of the student ministry, therefore, is to help strengthen the family unit and to help parents teach their children about the truth of God and how to walk according to His ways. We are here to work beside you and not against you.
- There are family events scheduled throughout the year, but parents are always welcome to attend any of our events or programs. You may think that your middle schooler won’t want you there (and he may even tell you that) but the truth is that he will probably really appreciate your interest.
- The student ministry is always in need of volunteers. You don’t need to be young, play the guitar, have a 15 passenger van, or even be “cool” to be a great youth worker. If you love God and love middle school students, then we have a place for you. Look on this website for ways that you can get involved and make a difference.
- The student ministry has an open door policy. This means that you can come by the office, call, or email us anytime about anything. We want to keep the lines of communication open as much as possible. We welcome your ideas, as well as your questions and concerns. We never want you to feel as if you are out of the loop or like your voice is not being heard.
