Ways to Get Involved

If any of the following areas interest you, or if you would like more information on how you can get involved, click here.

Life Group Leader

LifeGroup Leaders teach a small group of middle school students every Sunday morning at either 8:00 AM or 11:00 AM.  Responsibilities include teaching the weekly lesson, staying in contact with your class members during the week, spending time with your class, and being a spiritual leader to your students.

Life Group Co-Leader

LifeGroup co-leaders assist the Life Group Leader in carrying out his or her responsibilities.  The co-leader will learn the skills necessary to begin a new LifeGroup as needed.

Life Group Substitute

LifeGroup Substitutes do not meet on a weekly basis.  When a LifeGroup cannot teach, they will contact a substitute at least one week prior to their absence.  All lessons are provided to the substitute and are available on the internet or as a hard copy.

Wednesday Night Life Group Assistant

Wednesday Night Life Groups are discipleship groups that meet on Wednesday nights.  Students break out into groups to hold each other accountable and encourage one another in the faith.  Life Group Assistants are there to be a resource to groups who need to talk with an adult.

Serve Group Leader

Serve Groups are a way for students to discover their spiritual gifts and to learn how to use their gifts to serve the church and the world.  Serve Groups do not meet every week, but meet as needed on Sunday nights.  Serve Group Leaders are there to mentor the students and help them lead and organize themselves.

Parent Ministry

The Student Ministry is always seeking ways to minister to and strengthen families.  We need adults who will assist in planning events, seminars, forums, etc. that will sharpen and encourage parents.

We are always in need of adults to come to the planned events to chaperone.  However, chaperones are not simply babysitters.  We love for chaperones to sit with the students, play with the students, and get to know the students.  A little love and interest in a student’s life will go a long way.

Evangelism Team

If you are interested helping out in the area of evangelism, then please let us know.  This is not a formal position, rather, it is one that will assist the Middle School Minister in developing evangelism goals, evangelism training, carrying out our evangelism strategy, etc.
